Me, in a beautiful smalltown called Freiburg (im Breisgau). This video was taken with my cellphone at a hostel where I stay, in the morning while I was enjoying my Serbat Wangi (a traditional drink with ginger, cinnamons, etc). Enjoy!

Dancing With The Moonlit Knight by Genesis. One of my favorite tracks. Taken from the album Selling England By The Pound (released in 1973). At the time it was a harsh critique against the british monarchy.

Two days ago I was at Saturn, an electronic shop, which also sells CDs, records, etc. (just wanna refresh my mind and update my music knowledge :D) What really surprised me is: I found a solo album of Steve Hackett. Well maybe some of you (or many of you) don’t know who he is. He’s a former member of a famous band named Genesis, my dad’s favorite band. I haven’t heard his name for such a long time and I thought he doesn’t make music anymore. It reminds me of my childhood, where I spent much time listening to Genesis.

A friend of mine send me this via Facebook. Cool animation, I got to say. Nicely done. And it reminds me of my home. The people, the atmosphere, and so on. Hope you’ll enjoy it! And I can’t wait to see the next episode!

Cheers,

Fikri

It’s a struggle. Life’s a struggle. A monday morning may be a struggle for a lot of you in a job that you despise, working for a boss that you despise. You’re slave to money then you die. God bless you.

F*ck conservative moslems!

Well I hope not. Apakah aku masih tetap optimis? Tampaknya tidak. Pesimis?

Lantas, dimana sisi positifnya?

We don’t have to be afraid of losing something, cos we don’t have anything. We have nothing to be proud of. So, what are we looking for? Happiness? What does it mean? More money? Are the people who live in the city, happier than those who live in the village? Ask yourself.

P.S. Sorry, the link has nothing to do with the text I wrote :)

A beautiful short video about geometry in the nature. Nicely done! And I love science :)

To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering one must not love. But then one suffers from not loving. Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer. To suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy then is to suffer. But suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness.
